Air-cooled COTS solutions for commercial and military aircraft

The 714 Series features an exclusive adjustable card cage to strategically position cards for either front panel card or backplane I/O. This unique feature, paired with the 714 Series’ rugged modular frame, create an unprecedented level of ATR format flexibility.

Modeled after the design of modern commercial and military aircraft, the 714 Series’ patent-pending aluminum frame is assembled with solid rivet technology and reinforced with aluminum outer panels to create a rugged ATR capable of withstanding severe shock and vibration environments. The 714 Series is available in a range of standard ARINC sizes ranging from ¼ ATR to 1 ½ ATR and its modular frame provides the flexibility to modify to any custom form factor.

The 714 Series provides a modular power supply, supporting AC or DC filtered inputs to military specifications. Designed to direct air over conventional air-cooled cards, the superior convection-cooling capabilities of the 714 Series address pressurized, evacuation, or push/pull application requirements. In non-pressurized environments, the 714 Series’ cooling scheme performs at altitudes of up to 50,000 feet. When partnered with Carlo Gavazzi’s System Performance Monitoring technology, the 714 Series can be configured to activate internal heaters in cold start-ups or control the cooling fans to maintain optimal thermal conditions for the circuit card assemblies.
